Sacrata, the consecrated place, was a station on the coast road of Picenum, perhaps where the church of Santa Maria a Potenza now stands, or at Monte Santo near Civitanova. The map gives six Roman miles to the river Flusor, now the Chienti, but leaves out the distance back to Potentia, which should be about eight.
