Pyctis is a bare name on the road between Orubicaria and Ange, with the figures eighteen and twenty-seven beside it, probably Persian parasangs rather than Roman miles. The Ravenna list spells it Pictis, with a plain i where the map has a y. Older research placed the station at Peik.
