Road station
Ostracine
Râs Istraki (Miller) · el Felusiyat (Barrington)
Ostracine was a station on the road from Egypt into Palestine, placed today at el Felusiyat, and it is attested in Roman and late antique times. The map gives no distance figure on either side of it; the Roman register of routes, which writes Ostracena, counts twenty-six miles from Cassio, about thirty-eight kilometres. The Ravenna list writes Ostracina, and on the map the stretch on to Rinocorura is drawn as two.
