Halata

Spuž?

Nalata shows a copyist's hand at work: the first letter reads as N, but it was altered, perhaps from an H, so the name may really be Halata, the Alata of a Roman register of routes and the Aleta of the Greek geographer Ptolemy. The station lay on the road from Narona to Scodra, most likely at Spuž in Montenegro, where there was an ancient quarry; others place it where the Ribnica meets the Morača, by remains of a Roman road six metres wide. The register counts thirty miles from here to Scodra, the map forty-six.
