Road station
Gurbita
NW Stobi, ? bei Nogaevci
Gurbita, a name recorded only on this map, was a station on the road from Scupi to Stobi, north-west of Stobi in North Macedonia, probably near Nogaevci, where a Roman milestone was found at just the distance the map gives to Stobi, eight miles. A refuse pit there held pottery and metalwork of the second century BC in Macedonian style, pointing to potters and smiths at work. The list of places compiled in Ravenna writes Cubita.
