Gramrianis

near Draževac

Gramrianis was a place to change horses on the military road to Constantinople, just before Naissus, the Roman Niš, placed near Draževac in Serbia; older research put it near Aleksinac. The spellings vary widely: the pilgrim from Bordeaux writes Rappiana, a Roman register of routes Rampiana, the list of places compiled in Ravenna Crambianis. The map sets Gramrianis twelve Roman miles from Praesidium Pompei and thirteen from Naissus, where the pilgrim counts twelve.
