Boron was a station in the Vara valley on the coast road from Genoa to Luni, near Beverino or San Venerio above La Spezia, and it is often equated with Boacias in a Roman register of routes. Its exact place is hard to fix because the map's distance on to Luna has dropped out, and the figures around it are in disorder.
