La Thuile
On the road from Aosta up to the Little Saint Bernard pass, the map marks Ariolica just below the summit, on the Italian side. It is La Thuile, a mountain village in the Aosta valley in Italy. The station is known only from this map. A Roman cemetery has been found at La Thuile, and in the nearby valley of the Ruitor there are deposits of silver ore. The same name appears elsewhere on the map, for Pontarlier in the Jura.
