Argentaria
Sase?
Argentaria simply means silver mine. It lay in the mining country of the middle Drina, perhaps at Sase near Srebrenica in Bosnia, a town whose own name means silver. Nearby stood Domavia, the Roman town from which, at least since Marcus Aurelius, imperial officials ran the mines of both Dalmatia and Pannonia; the Romans worked silver and lead here from the later first century. Whether the map means a single mining village or the whole district is unclear, which may explain why no distances lead to it.
