Amostas
Amostas has a disputed last letter. Older research insisted that the map reads Amostae, with a final e; later research sees no reason for that and keeps the s, and the Ravenna list has Amostas or Amosta. The station lay twenty Roman miles from Magrus and twenty-four from Batitas, and was once placed near Tell Shellade, across from ruins on the left bank of the Khabur.
