Vorogio is placed at Vouroux, by Varennes-sur-Allier, though Vollore-Ville has also been argued. The map's form is faulty; the true name, Vorocium, was recovered from a ring dedication to Mars Vorocius found at Vichy, and from a Merovingian coin reading Vorolio vico. On the map the name is written sideways, well away from its distance figure, as if it had been forgotten and squeezed in after the road was drawn. The stretch onward to Ariolica is drawn as two.
