Road station

unnamed/illegible, no. ID 3757

Just before Sena Iulia, today Siena in Tuscany, the road on the map makes one more small turn without a name, directly beside the town's symbol. The sixteen Roman miles from the previous nameless stop, near Papena, end at this turn, and from here the road runs on to the town without a figure. Like other such turns, it most likely helped the copyist bring the road neatly up to the picture of the town, and marks no station of its own.
