Road station
unnamed/illegible, no. ID 3752
Between Albingaunum, today Albenga, and Vada Sabatia, today Vado Ligure in Italy, the road makes a small step with no name just before Vado's town symbol. Most likely it only served the drawing: it keeps the road from striking the roof of the symbol and makes room for the distance figure, twenty-nine, which would otherwise have collided with the river Lucus or the name of Vado. If a station has dropped out here, it could be a bridge over the Lucus, or Pullopice, which the Roman register of routes lists on this road. The register counts only twenty miles for the whole way.
