Road station

unnamed/illegible, no. ID 3703

In Calabria in southern Italy, between Scilatio, today Squillace, and a station called Annibali, the map draws a stop with no name, with thirty Roman miles on either side of it, about forty-four kilometres each way. The matching figures raise the suspicion that one of them is simply the other written twice. Another possibility is that this nameless hook hints at a road from Scylacium to Caulonia that the map otherwise leaves out. No ancient station has been identified here.
