Road station

Tablis

Willemsdorp oder Moerdyk o. Dordrecht (Miller)

Tablis is Tablae, a station on the southern road through the land of the Batavians, from the mouth of the Rhine to Nijmegen, somewhere among the islands and waterways of South Holland in the Netherlands: at the crossing of the Hollandsch Diep near Willemsdorp or Moerdijk, at Dordrecht, or at Alblasserdam. Its name may simply be the Latin word tabulae, boards. The distances on the map around it are hard to reconcile with any of these places.
