Risca

Henchir-Bichga

Listen to the story

Risca is a slip for Bisica, a town with the surname Lucana at Henchir Bichga in Tunisia, which inscriptions show as a municipium in the second century AD and later as a colony, with bishops recorded in Christian times. The roads around it are a small puzzle on the map: one stretch has no starting mark, a line to Sicilibba is missing although its figure is there, and one distance of ten should probably read eighteen.
