Road station
Robrica
Saumur?
Robrica was a place of the Andecavi on the lower Loire, on the road from Angers to Tours. Where exactly it lay is uncertain. One older view chose Saumur or Bagneux beside it, where Roman baths were found and a famous monument, once called druidic, stands. The distances point rather to Beaufort or Longué, and other suggestions include Les Rosiers-sur-Loire and Vivy. On the map the next stretch had to be kept short, so the name was pushed to the far end of the road coming from Angers.
