Road station
Praesidium Dasmini
Bračin?
Praesidium Dasmini, a garrison post, was a station on the great military road from the Danube to Constantinople, in the Morava valley of Serbia between Horreum Margi and Naissus, perhaps at Bračin, or near Jovanovac, where Roman remains have been found. As its name says, it began as a military post guarding the road that linked the Danube garrisons with the fortresses inland. The map sets it seventeen Roman miles from Horreum Margi and fifteen from Praesidium Pompei, and draws that second stretch as two.
