Praesidium

17 m.p. SE Scupi

Praesidium lay south-east of Scupi, the Roman Skopje, in North Macedonia, some seventeen Roman miles from the city, perhaps near Kozle or Blace; its exact site is unknown. The name simply means garrison post, and the map has another place so called. The map sets Praesidium nine Roman miles from Ad Herculem and nine from Ad Cephalon.
