Road station
Pons Seruili
Fusha e Kododeshit?
Pons Servili, the bridge of Servilius, was a station where the Via Egnatia crossed a tributary of the Shkumbin, probably in the now marshy basin of Fusha e Kododeshit in Albania, where earlier travellers found the remains of a bridge at just the distance the map gives. Others look near Përrenjas, where three old bridges stand. Beyond it the road ran on to Lychnidus, today Ohrid, and milestones of 217 at Struga and Ohrid count their miles from that town.
