Monumenta Regum means the monuments of the kings; the Ravenna list shortens it to Monumentum, a single monument. Older research placed the station near Dscharra, going by the distances alone. The map counts twenty-four Roman miles from Naharre and forty on to Sohene, a stretch that is drawn as two.
