Mino Meduaco

near Lova

Listen to the story

Mino Meduaco, at the lesser Meduacus, marks the road's crossing of the second branch of the river, now the Bacchiglione, near Lova at the edge of the Venetian lagoon. The river's names have wandered over the centuries: the writer Aelian calls it the Eretenus, and the poet Venantius Fortunatus, around 570, lists it as the Reteno beside the Brinta, the Brenta.
