Magrus stood exactly midway, twenty Roman miles, about thirty kilometres, from Haste and the same again from Amostas. On the map the stretch on to Amostas is drawn so short that its figure had to be written at the start of the following stretch instead. The station has been placed at Ain es Sihl, by the ruins of Tell Muazzer.
