Road station

Conbustica

Kladorup?

Conbustica, the Roman Combustica, was a station on the road from Naissus to Ratiaria on the Danube, perhaps at Kladorup in Bulgaria; older research suggested Belogradchik, or Rabisha, where an inscription was found. The map sets Conbustica twenty-seven Roman miles, about forty kilometres, from Timacum Minus and twenty-seven from Ratiaria.
