Road station

Conbaristum

Combrée

Conbaristum was a road station between Angers and Rennes, known only from the map. Older research usually placed it at Combrée, but to make that fit, the map's distance had to be nearly doubled. Other suggestions were Châteaubriant, which lies much further away, Châtelais, and Candé, where traces of a road have been reported. The question has never been settled, and a modern atlas still marks the name with a question mark.
