Road station

Colla

? bei Sığırcıl ? bei Kocahıdır

Colla is known only from this map, and probably the place too. It was a station on a side road of the Via Egnatia, between Aenos, today's Enez, and Zorlanis near Keşan. Some look for it near Sığırcıl, others in the area of Kocahıdır. It may be the inland town that Pliny says was once called Caela before it became the colony of Flaviopolis; it is clearly not the harbour of Koila on the Gallipoli peninsula. Even the grammatical form of the name on the map is uncertain.
