Cluturno, a small place in Samnium near Aesernia, perhaps at Cantalupo del Sannio, shows how names could be garbled when copied from a map like this one. The list of places compiled in Ravenna calls it Cleturnomnion, apparently because its compiler read the distance figure beside the name as part of the name itself. The roads around it are just as confused: the line that should run on to Bovianum heads off instead towards Ebutiana.
