Road station
Clarenna
Weilheim oder Donnstetten?!
Clarenna was a station on the road from the Neckar over the Swabian Jura in Germany, and its site is still debated. It may be the fort at Donnstetten on the Römerstein, built under the Flavian emperors, which lived on as a village after about 150, or it may lie at Weilheim or Kirchheim unter Teck. Older research placed it at Cannstatt, one of the most important Roman sites in Swabia, but then the distances beyond it cannot be made to fit. On the map the road on to Ad Lunam is drawn as two stretches.
