Bebiana, the village of Baebiana on the Via Aurelia, lay between Lorium and Alsium, near Torrimpietra, and the list of places compiled in Ravenna spells it Bebeina. Inscriptions found there show that sailors of the imperial fleets of Misenum and Ravenna were stationed at this inland spot. According to the map, a side road branched off here to the hot springs of Aquae Apollinares.
