Two distance figures, eight and nine, stand side by side on the stretch from this station to Careiae, while the figure back to Sabate is missing altogether, and the road line here even grazes the picture of another station, Vacanae, that has nothing to do with it. The station itself, Ad Novas, at the new inns, lay somewhere on the Via Clodia near Lake Bracciano. It has been moved to Tolfa on another road, but without good reason.
