Road station

Acidaua

Doştat

Acidava is drawn as the last station before Apulum, today Alba Iulia, on the road from the Olt valley, and is placed at Doștat in Romania, between Sebeș and Miercurea Sibiului. The list of places compiled in Ravenna writes Sacidava, perhaps more correctly. Its ending, dava, is the Dacian word for a village or settlement, and the map has another Acidava on the lower Olt. The map sets it twenty-four Roman miles from Cedonia and fifteen from Apulum.
