Road station

Veri

(SE Augemmi) (Barrington)

Veri is where its road runs out: no further stretch leads on, and the map gives no figure for the way in from Laminiae. The station lay in Africa Proconsularis and was a bishop's seat in late antiquity; its exact site is unknown, somewhere south-east of Augemmi. Older research wondered about Douirat and noted that the last Roman remains towards the south lie at Siaoun. The Ravenna list calls it Afas Verim.
