Road station
Sihinnus
Sihinnus, the Siouana of the geographer Ptolemy, stood twenty-two Roman miles from Thilapsum, and from here a road ran thirty miles to Baba. Part of the line for that stretch is missing on the map, and older research insisted that the road must not be carried on to Singara, as some had drawn it. The Ravenna list writes Sichinus; the site, once put at Tell Zijaret, is still not securely located.
