Rapis

Türkheim

Listen to the story

Rapis lay on the road from Augsburg to Kempten, probably at Türkheim in Bavarian Swabia, though older research looked for it near Schwabmünchen. It may be the same stop that a Roman register of routes calls Rostrum Nemaviae. The map puts it eighteen Roman miles from Augusta Vindelicum and twenty-four from Navoae.
