Beside Jerusalem rises Mons Oliveti, the Mount of Olives, and on the map both its name and its mountain symbol stand out in a conspicuous red. That colour, the symbol and the name itself were probably all added later to the mapmaker's work, which makes this small red hill one of the traces of later hands on the map.
