Road station
Lura
Pontoise a. d. Oise (Miller) · Pontoise-lès-Noyon (Barrington)
Lura is a copyist's slip for Isara, the river Oise, as the milestone column of Tongeren shows. The station stood where the road from Amiens to Soissons crossed the Oise, at Pontoise-lès-Noyon in the north of France, and was simply named after the river. Foundations of an old bridge, the Pont de Malemer, have been reported near the crossing. Milestones found near Soissons count their distances in Gallic leagues from that city.
