Schleitheim
Iuliomago lies at Schleitheim in the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen, on the road from Zurzach towards the sources of the Danube. Roman remains and a large Alamannic cemetery have been found there, and at nearby Stühlingen there are foundations of Roman buildings, a mosaic floor and coins. The name joins the name Julius to the Celtic word for a field, and it is shared by Angers in western Gaul, which appears on the map under the same name.
