Listen to the story
Inuca, which a Roman register of routes calls Unuca, was a small town on the road from Carthage to Theveste, at Bordj Bahran in Tunisia, with its own bishop in Christian times. Its ruins, built of large squared blocks, spread over three low hills, and on one of them a long wall seems to be the remains of a fortification. The map sets it thirteen Roman miles from Sicilibra and just two from Ad Mercurium.
