In Murio, at the Mur, was the station where the road over the Tauern reached the river Mur in the Lungau, near St. Margarethen, although the map draws no river here. Its site, the Roman settlement of Immurium, has yielded many inscriptions. Milestones counting the miles from Teurnia show fourteen Roman miles between here and the pass station In Alpe, exactly the figure the map gives.
