Iciniaco

Theilenhofen (Barrington) · Trometzheim o. eher Theilenhofen (Miller)

Iciniaco is Iciniacum, most likely the fort at Theilenhofen in Bavaria, though Trommetsheim nearby has also been suggested. The fort has been excavated, and inscriptions show that an auxiliary cohort was stationed here on the Raetian frontier. Older research also tried Itzing. The map places the station eight Roman miles from Medianis and seven from Biriciana, today Weißenburg.
