Road station

Hadia

Listen to the story

Hadia is cut in two by its own road: the line runs straight through the name, with 'Had' on one side and 'ia' on the other. The figure for the next stage, fifteen Roman miles to Themessata, sits below the road at a different angle, and the sixteen miles from Tigubis carry a question mark, because that number is written under the name of Tigubis. The station has never been located.
