River
Fl. N.N.
Listen to the story
Flumen nomen nescio, meaning simply 'river, name unknown', is the label given to this watercourse, which the copyist of around 1200 drew as a river line with no name written beside it. Its course runs through the part of the map showing Asia beyond the Euphrates and south of the Taurus mountains, a landscape the Tabula crosses with many such nameless streams.
