River

Fl. N.N.

Listen to the story

Flumen nomen nescio, the river whose name nobody knows, is one of the many watercourses the Tabula draws without any label at all. It flows through the map's lands east of the Euphrates and south of the Taurus mountains, a plain line of water with no name and no distance figures beside it. Scholars who catalogued the map's routes listed it all the same, so this nameless stream still has its own place among the rivers of the East.
