Road station

Fines

Le Segala?

The figure onward from this Fines is missing on the map; the pilgrim from Bordeaux, who travelled the same road from Toulouse to Narbonne, gives fourteen. The name itself has faded and is best made out on an old photograph, and some older copies read Finei. The station stood where the dioceses of Narbonne and Toulouse later met, and that fits the name, which means boundaries. It is placed at Le Ségala, with Pechbusque and Pesquiers as older suggestions.
