Evrone

Vallonga? [Pleiades]

Listen to the story

Evrone is the harbour the Roman writer Pliny calls Aedro, at the edge of the Venetian lagoon where the branches of the Meduacus and the canal called Fossa Clodia reached the sea; its site is sought near Lugo or at Chioggia. On the map the distance to the next station fades out, so that it can be read as seventeen or eighteen.
