Curis

Curis stands on its own on an island in the Nile Delta, a name with no road leading to it. Older research offered two readings: that the name hides Busiris, or that it is Chereu, the first station out of Alexandria, near the spot where the canal to Alexandria left the Canopic branch of the Nile. Chereu itself appears in papyri from Hellenistic into late antique times. The Ravenna list writes Cuvis.
