Road station

Cemu[/nui]ana

(near Fellines (Viladesens)) (Barrington)

Cemuana, as one reading of the map has it, is the station the Roman register of routes calls Cinniana, probably after the estate of a man named Cinna. The letters are uncertain: an i before the first a seems clear, but the letter before it may be n or m. The silver cups from Vicarello write Cilniana. It lay between Girona and Figueres, near Fellines, where a stream called Cingana is said to flow. The map gives twelve miles from Gerunda and fifteen onward to Juncaria.
