Bacataiali

nördlich von Tschalmud Aghanin (Miller)

Bacataiali is the Bakataialle of the geographer Ptolemy, who places it in the district of Kassiotis, on the road from Laodicea by the sea to Antioch. It may be the same stop as Bachaiae, listed by the pilgrim from Bordeaux, and by its position it could be Urde, at the foot of the Jebel Aqra, the mountain that gave Kassiotis its name. On the map it is a bare name, with no figure for the road from Laodicea.
