Bacinora

(Bagh-i-)Rāwer (Miller)

Bacinora may be Rawer, also called Bagh-i-Rawer, a place some thirty Persian parasangs north of Kerman. If so, the map's road from Tazora to Aris on the Hilmand river cut across the desert eastwards towards Afghanistan, on one of its smaller tracks. Older research also thought the true form was Bagirora and compared Baziphara in a late Roman account of Alexander's march. Another proposal points to the ruins of Deh-i-Salm near Nih, where a cistern and crumbling buildings stretch as far as the eye can see.
