Avodiaco is Epfach on the Lech a second time: the map already names it as Abodiaco on the road just above, and here it appears again on the road from Augsburg to the Brenner. Scholars admit that the mapmaker was confused in this corner of the map, and that users must be too. The whole crossing of the Alps on this road is reduced to one stretched kink in the red line, and the distance to the next station is missing.
